The brief for this project was loosely defined. As part of the commission we assisted JCU in beginning a benchmarking exercise and extensive research to ensure that the outcome would be flexible, innovative and an exemplar for this building typology. A series of values and frameworks were established and agreed to drive the brief development to ensure that all stakeholders were working collectively toward the same outcome.
