This project is the result of a design competition. Although the brief was already well scoped Donovan Hill and Wilson Architects created a new framework for a significant lab building that was not only extraordinarily efficient but was a beautiful place to work.

Design leadership explored ways scientists could work collaboratively as well as have the space and place to concentrate with their writing up of their research. Circulation systems took advantage of the grand outdoor garden where perambulation created a visual interconnection to all parts of the building.
